What should I wear

My question is: I'm not sure what jewelry to wear or how to style my hair. Purse is black with gold hardware

My question is: Bought this dress, which is not fitted I was pulling it from the back..just wanted opinions..if I alter it, should I make it fitted like the picture? Or should I leave it long and loose? I thought about shortening it also..unaltered it could look like a swing dress with a belt..ideas? I love the print and don't want to ruin it!!
