Yay or nay

Updated by  jicyjac

Title for my photo:
Yay or nay
I am wearing:
Bella B coral knit dress, witchery cardigan, CR belt , Lululemon leggings, Sandler ankle boots
My question is:
Got this dress for about 1/10th of the Rrp on Ozsale, love the colour but I'm not sure about the asymmetrical hemline. Should I try and get used to it or move it on?

You need to ditch the top and your outfit will work well. Otherwise if you are still a little too cold, you may need to wear a warmer blazer or jacket.

Thanks for the tips - it's too cold to wear without anything under, so I'll try to find something with lower neckline. I also tried it with a denim jacket instead of the cardi and belt, and that seemed to work OK too. I'll give it at least another couple of outings.

I love this look but I agree that perhaps wearing it without the top underneath might be even better. I think a scarf instead of the top underneath would be perfect! It's a great dress, good job bargain hunting I am sure you will get so much wear out of it!

Hi jicyjac, I love this look - it is stylish and sassy! :) I think the dress is meant to be a statement piece, with a unique hem, so it looks designer! The belt over the layers looks great to show off your shape. But you could wear it either under or over the cardi. Different ways on different days! :) I would swap the top underneath for one that has a similar neckline to the dress. Otherwise I love this whole look! It sends a message of confidence! Add a bold bangle or earrings to finish!

Hi, Love the cardigan with the belt and the dress. I wouldn't wear the black v neck top underneath. Too many Vs. Ciao!

I really like this outfit just the way it is! The double-asymmetrical hemline is so unusual, it really stands out. Also, a nipped in belted waist keeps a winter outfit sleek. If I were to change anything, I'd remove the top from underneath. Just add a silk or wool scarf to keep warm. You could try the dress with nude stockings and boots for a dressier look, too. It's a "yes!" from me.

I think the hemline really distracts from the shape of the outfit. I might be too many asymmetrial things are going on here with the dress AND the cardigan together. I'd wear it in summer over your bathers though as a beach sarong type thing.

I like the dress, maybe try it without the top underneath and the belt just around the dress instead of the dress and jumper...
