This dress would work with the right kind of underwear and different shoes. Bras N Things have a great range of body shape underwear, and I have a terrific pair of tummy control knickers for about $30.00. I would add a thin red belt, red tights and patent black shoes for a fun look. For a more conservative style, black opaques and simple black heels would look great.

Thank you ladies!

I know u've said before your boobs can be annoying, but trust me when I say your shape waist up is a tremendous asset for you. Show it off . As a summer dress, this one does nothing for ur bust. The added bonus is that when u find a dress with a super flattering top half, it also takes the focus away from our (yours & MINE!) bottoms. There will be other (polka dot) dresses.....Val

Tweety - I notice the tummy first due to the straight stretch shape, ruching& empire seam. They all act in conspiracy here - say bye bye dress. Also too long for a petite & most alterations places dont have proper machines to take up stretch fabrics so make the thread too tight, breaks when u walk).....Shapewear wont transform this, say NO. Its not best shape for a (lovely) petite pear. I also think you can aim for a (somewhat) lower neckline, not sleazy, just a tad lower....see next post...

Awesome dress on you but I would take the hem up, length is a bit frumpy.

The dress is such a perfect shape for you and I definitely don't think it's too tight! I think the bunching is just from the side ruching and that is quite often the effect. If you are at Target they have a selection of shapewear that you could just try it with so you know you are happy with it before purchasing. I love the neckline on you and I think you will get a lot of wear out this great LBD!

It's a GREAt shape on you, but I wonder if the material is why it's bunching up like that. Just a thought. Even the right undies might not erase that effect.

Shapewear + heels will have you rocking this frock in no time... it's a "Yes!" from me.

It has side ruching but I'll also wear a shapewear underneath to smooth out juicy lumps.
