What should I wear

I agree with the 'cropped' advice... something in a bright colour but ever-so-slightly shorter will be better proportioned for your petite frame. Also, take the skirt hem up a little to emphasise your legs. Wedge heels look less formal and are a sneaky way to add everyday height. How about wearing the blazer over a little-black-dress (knee length, not below) with dark textured black tights and simple black leather wedge heels? You could add a print silk scarf to draw attention upward, too.

Why not try this skirt with a cardigan of the same colour, if you're worried about it swamping your petite frame. You could easily find one on Ebay. Otherwise Kathryn's suggestion about getting a cropped version of this blazer would work too.

Love this look, I agree with Mandy and say you could wear it with a white or black top, maybe a skirt to the knee or just above will create more illusion of height... Also, maybe a cute polka dot dress with a colourful jacket could work too. Enjoy!! Xx

What a great look this is. If your worried about being too petite for it - why not try and source a slightly more cropped version of the blazer (just so the length doesn't swamp you) I personally like the white top underneath, it's fresh and clean and perfect for a daytime event

I don't see why you couldn't pull it off with either black top or white top under. That skirt is so fun! Would be a cute casual outfit too with a denim jacket and flats or boots.
