Thank you all. Delia, the weather wasn't much better in EU. It rained quite a bit during our last two weeks there.Val,yes to the back vent. Tiff, you'll love the rabbit fur lined gloves I bought. Very warm.B, I was rugged up in a raincoat, cobalt jeans and leather sneakers most of the time. Wasn't S worthy, unfortunately.

Dear S, welcome back! Did you have a wonderful trip? Haven't seen you on the S yet - but sure he is saving it up for us! Love the new frock - yes raise it at the shoulders and don't hem till that is done - best for this dress to be a little longer than shorter. Adorable colour/print on you. Great buy. Welcome back! Yes I think it's lovely, but then I'm a sucker for a vintage style print. Very 40s looking, would love to see this with a cropped jacket and some smart Winter leather gloves for ladylike appeal.

I love it - what a gorgeous print in a classic shape. LOVE! When they do the hem Tweety, ask them to taper it in just a touch, so it has a slight pencil shape...the good alterations places will bring this up themselves, but just in case, you mention it to them (I assume it has a centre back vent, so pencil shape can accommodate u walking...)....European purchases? Did I hear anyone say European purchases??...cant wait to hear about those.....Val

Welcome back Tweety!!!! But you shouldn't have rushed home...winter has arrived early in Melbourne!!!! LOVE that dress - this size is much better and so sweet and summery. I agree that once you alter the straps and hemline it will be a winner!
