Pink Lace Dress
So for my birthday I'm going to be wearing this dress, but I'm not sure what to wear with it. In particular, what jacket or something to keep me warm when it becomes colder in the day.
I think I am just adding to everyone else's comments by saying the same thing! I think that a light coloured cream/white blazer with a nude heel would look ohh soo girlie and cute! You could even do a nice flower headpiece in cream colours. This would look amazing with a cream/white blazer. You can then alter the feel of the outfit by your shoes and accessories. Eg girlie - pretty things like pastels and pearls or edgy - mixed metals, anything with spikes, big statement pieces etc
Sweet frock! Bet you're looking forward to wearing it! It really depends on your accessories (shoes, jewellery) but what springs to my mind first is a cropped blazer in a soft fabric and colour - cream, powder grey, pink, old gold. If you're incorporating black already then a black cardigan with jewel buttons or a little black jacket with puff sleeves would work well. If the party's not too formal then try it with one of this season's floral prints, it should be easy to match the peach.
Such a gorgeous dress! If it was me I'd wear this with a nude/champagne or white blazer and nude shoes and a stack of pearl bracelets.. Over girly it all up! Enjoy your birthday!
Hi Tara, I love that dress! Since it is really light and pretty, I would not pair it with a light- colored cardigan or jacket. It would look great with a leather or faux leather jacket! Hope that helps!
I would wear a rose pink cardigan with this cream frock for an extra dash of sweetness. Otherwise mint green would work well or any other pastel as this colour is soft. Powder blue, light pink or black can also look fabulous with this colour. I would stick to coverups that are either cropped or finish at the waist, then you can add a pink belt over the top to stay warm and maintain a stylish look.
A little black mini jacket would look really cute with this like the one I have attached to this comment! I love the dress too! I think if you decide to wear the black jacket, a little silver necklace would look great as well!
