What to wear on a casual date/ business meeting?
I have a casual business meeting with a client and a new business associate has asked if I would like to have dinner with him when we finish, what should I wear? I dont want to be too corporate and I want to look nice for our casual date afterwards. It's the first time we'll be together one on one & I think I like him :)
Hi Girls, just an update ~ Apparently he thought I looked pretty good in my red skinny jeans and we went on quite a few more dates but alas he turned into a toad! Haha oh well plenty more dates to dress up for... Silver lining ;) Thanks again xx
Thanks Delia & Brittney! I think will go with red skinny jeans with black heels & blazer and a white dressy t-shirt underneath and then lose the blazer at dinner. Thanks for steering me in the right direction... We'll see what happens! :)))
HI Fifi, oh that sounds fun!!!! I agree with Brittney that you could easily wear skinny jeans, drssy blouse, blazer and heels. Then at dinner you can lose the blazer to be more relaxed. Stash a hairbrush, make-up essentials and perfume in your bag so you can touch up before dinner, then you'll feel like you've transitioned from work to social! Enjoy and let us know what happens!!
Hi Fifi, how exciting!!! I would try to combine a smart casual and a business look by wearing a black skinny leg pant/jean with a pair of black heels and then a blouse/top and a blazer. You can add little touches with a simple necklace depending on the cut of the top you select. Another option would be a high waist skirt and a nice blouse, this look would also work perfectly for both occasions. Good luck and I hope you have a great date!
