for a wedding
I have a navy blue dress with gold beading as the straps, and a red jacket to wear with it. Can I wear glittery bronze/gold shoes or should I wear red?

I would go for the bronze/ gold shoes. Then you can wear a red lippy to finish off your look.
I was just checking out Proenzer Schouler's gold shoulder bag and thinking "I want some gold!", then 30 seconds later I read this post... I'm on team gold, your outfit sounds fantastic and I like the idea of unifying the gold beading with some gold shoes. Red + blue + gold = *win*

Hi jmm, your navy dress with gold details sounds gorgeous. I think your bronze/gold shoes are ideal! I think red heels might be too much with the red jacket. If you want a little more red you could always add a cocktail ring, earrings or a stack of bangles that have gold, bronze, blue and a tiny bit of red. Enjoy the wedding!
