Interview
Hi guys! Just wondering what a good outfit would be for a job interview. So far it's at hogs breath cafe, (very well known around Aus.) I'm in year 10. I've chosen nice jeans, simple white shirt and fashion blazer. Is this good?
Don't wear jeans - if you are being interviewed by anyone over 30, you will look too casual. A nice pair of pants with a t-shirt and blazer would be good. Remember to make sure your nails are clean and tidy (and short!). Clean shoes, not too high. It sounds boring, but "you never get a second chance to make a good impression'! Good luck, hope you get it!
Your outfit sounds great!! Simple, clean and chic. Good luck with your interview, hope it goes well.
What a great classic outfit you've chosen, and you'll be able to wear all these pieces again! Hope your interview goes well!
Perfect! Just wear your hair up so it doesn't distract you and also gives you a more professional look. Soft eye make up and pink lipstick would look great and go easy on the jewelry. Good luck!
Sounds perfect to me. A classic outfit, appropriate for the interview. "Clean & tidy" with subtle accessories / make-up is key to a good first impression. Very best wishes, good luck Hannah!
Hi Hannah, congratulations on getting an interview! That is a really fun restaurant! I think jeans with a nice shirt and blazer would be perfect. I also think grooming is important - show them that you are really well presented and they'll know that you are ready to work for them!
For Hogs Breath - that is perfect. If you also have interviews at other restaurants that are not so laid back or causal in theme or even for instance at the local cafe, then I would just swap the jeans for a some nice black pants. Once you get the job they will tell you what is appropriate to wear to work.
