black, red & chocolate is actually very avant garde combination - its sophisticated....if u look in the mirror & ur eyes go up & down, then you've pulled it off Tanya....if your eyes are going horizontal & being cut off by the junction of dress-hose & hose-boots, then re-think. This is less likely to happen (& I think Brittney nailed it) when she said if the pattern of hose has small dots and small negative space. if not working, revert to black boots, but i am keeping fingers x'd for u. Black boots would def pull the look together ;)

I agree with everyone, black shoes would work best. Boots or heels would be ideal, as the chocolate will look a little 'off' against the polka dot tights. I think that red and black look smart together, chocolate works well too but more so with just red or neutrals as you don't want it competing with the black.

if you want to do the brown boots id do pantyhose and a brown jacket, if not the black tights with cute black ankle boots or flats

Agreed... Black boots, or red ankle boots.

I agree with Brittany, I would put a black boot with this combo rather than chocolate... Xx

Ditto - I think black boots would be ideal! Sounds like a cute outfit!

Hi Tanya, I would personally be more enclined towards a black boot for this particular outfit because it will work back well with the black tights. However it depends on the colour of the boots specifically and how much of the tights you see. If the boots are a very dark chocolate and you just get a glimpse of the polka dot tights it could work. I love the sound of the tights with the red dress-super stylish winter look!
