What to wear in Sydney at the moment
So I'm heading to Sydney tomorrow for the weekend. Going to Darling Harbour, food and wine show, and to do some shopping. What to wear??? Please help me with some general advice to look good and be comfy while doing all that walking around.
I find Sydney is pretty casual. A nice pair of jeans some knit tops and a good coat will get you through the weekend. If you wear skirts, show off your pins with some print tights. Make sure you wear practical shoes, and save the stilettos for the bar. A pair of cute boots will make you run faster to catch those bargains! Also don't forget a pair of gloves, and ear muffs create a fun and quirky look while keeping you warm.
Hi Jaci, I love skinny jeans & ankle boots with a jacket and scarf for warmth and style. Separates are also practical for shopping, so you can easily try different tops or bottoms. Ankle boots are easy to slip on and off. But I also agree with Brittany that flat riding boots look stylish and are comfy too! Enjoy Sydney!
Sorry Jaci that was the end of my answer the rest did not post. It will be cold at this time of year so you will need to rug up. I would definitely take a good pair of black opaque tights that you can wear with dresses and skirts and a flat riding boot always looks stylish with tights or jeans and they are comfy too! Scarves are a great winter accessory and will look great with your dresses and tights or with jeans and a blazer.
A long sleeve dress can take you from day to night too, if you pair it with your tights and flat boots during the day and a pair of heels and some great accessories if you go out at night. I hope this helps and I hope you have a great time!
